"Sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." - Lewis Carroll
When you stretch yourself beyond your limits, certain phrases will disappear from your vocabulary, like this one: ‘I can’t.’
Other outmoded words and phrases, like ‘too old,’ ‘too young,’ too broke,’ ‘too busy,’ ‘too tired,’ ‘unworthy,’ ‘not good enough,’ will fall away like a heavy, old, itchy wool coat, and be replaced by a gentle rain, washing the scratchy old thoughts away. New life and inspiration will flood in and you’ll wonder how you ever doubted anyone as magnificent as you!
Let’s examine the steps from the video above, one at a time:
Willingness: Just move in the direction of your dream. That’s all. Keep it simple, take one or two baby steps, and head in the direction of the impossible. Like a Billionaire was recently quoted as saying: “Do what makes your heart beat fast.”
(Pretty soon you’ll be having several impossible dreams before breakfast and you’ll be dancing around the house)
Possibility with Curiosity: Your ears are perking up and listening, your vision is expanding, you have a felt sense in your body that maybe it might actually be possible… Just stay curious. Once you’ve headed in the direction of your dream with your itsy bitsy baby steps, you’ll hear things, see things, that are evidence of your dream ‘noticing’ you – like a glance from a lover across the room. You’ll know somewhere deep without understanding why, that something wonderful is happening for you.
Hopefulness – now let your heart beat, allow your imagination to soar, feel that uniquely satisfying sensation called Hope fill your being. This is precisely where many people sabotage their forward momentum. They feel Hope rising and shut it down, all because of fear. Fear they will be disappointed if it doesn’t work out. Lack of Hope is one of the leading causes of depression. Don’t go there.
Allow Hope to enter, bring out your best china and your grandmother’s silver and celebrate the arrival of Hope. There is no disappointment, it’s a mind construct. There will be challenges and setbacks, and that’s just the way it is because your dream it meant to make you learn about yourself and grow. You’ll become more than you are now -- you will become that person who can claim the dream.
Period of Waiting. Be patient, stay confident, believe in yourself. There is a waiting period – duh. It takes time to make the impossible possible. Meanwhile, go about your business, keep dancing around the house.
The reason you have your dream is to get you to reach. Don't give up...Just stretch
