Life Begins at the End of Your Comfort Zone
Neal Donald Walsch, "Conversations With God"
“Do one thing every day that scares you”
Eleanor Roosevelt
When you stretch yourself, learn to become comfortable with the discomfort of change. It’s part of the growth pattern, like the stem the energy of the rose must move through in order to blossom.
There will be SOMETHING you have to learn or discover; you might feel a fair amount of angst about it. It’s not all roses without some thorns.
Get comfortable with the feelings of growth. The payoff is an extradorinary life, one designed specifically for you. You might have to get on a stage. You might have to talk to many people, or stand up and claim your space where the former you would be intimidated. You most likely will have to take a giant leap –of faith.
It’s part of the process of reaching beyond where you’ve been. Change is inevitable anyway. Choose for yourself where you want to land in 60 days, then choose how it will all look in 6 months, then again in one year, and keep going beyond.
Write it all down. This exercise is worth the effort. It will ease the way of your growth as you view it first in your imagination and gain clarity and certainty. It will prepare your path, even though much of it will be mysterious and full of wonder.
It is your dream - participate and grow into all that lies waiting.
