Develop the habit Continuous Self-Improvement
Habit" Martial Arts Grandmaster, Doc-Fai
Wong
Use the experiences you have as growth. It’s
great to win at something. It seems to make all of your hard work and
effort worth it. If you are striving for an achievement, you want to reach
your goals. However, the real pay off is when you don’t give up because
you didn’t win, or
you didn’t achieve what you set out to accomplish.
If you were going after a job and didn’t get hired, you don’t give up.
You take stock of what you could do better or differently the next
time. If there is something you really want, you will find the joy
of accomplishment in your personal growth. You will eventually
win what you are going after, and the sense of accomplishment will be far
greater when you learn how to dig deeper and pull something even greater
from within yourself that gives you the feelings of empowerment and
strength. Develop the habit of continuous improvement. Keep pushing
yourself to learn more, strive to reach beyond your current abilities and
discover that your current limits will dissolve. Learn
from your experiences and try again. That will take you to your
dreams.
